Trinseo is looking for a:

 

Scheduling Technologist M/F

 

The Scheduling Technologist will join a growing team within the manufacturing and production industry.

You will perform raw material and production planning for selected Trinseo plants in Europe. Your primary responsibility will be the planning of the reactors and raw material purchase plans. You will also learn planning of additional assets, so you can act as backup for colleagues.

'- Implement, execute and monitor production plans;

- Control operational planning and order management; monitor and resolve issues and conflicts;

- Daily interface with site logistics and internal/external suppliers to balance supply and demand;

- Perform supply/demand balance calculations;

- Support business supply chain initiatives through data analysis.

'- High school/advanced secondary education;

- Bachelor’s degree and/or APICS CPIM Certification is a plus;

- Experience in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Logistics. A Background in a multinational/international company is a plus;

- Excellent command of English languages (oral & written) is required. Speaking German is a strong plus;

- Competencies required for success are Interpersonal Effectiveness, Innovation & Initiative and Teamwork;

- Communication skills to effectively collaborate with external business and internal cross-functional partners;

- Must have demonstrated ability to apply logical thinking and computational skills; sound analytical skills are a must to make timely decisions;

- Technical proficiency in the use of multiple computer applications (especially Excel) and ECC/SAP. Experience with other SAP components (Business Warehouse) is a plus
